I am currently a researcher at the Developmental Psychology Lab and a lecturer in typical and atypical developmental psychology, and legal psychology, respectively. My main research interest regards the way memory and executive functioning are related to nonclinical and clinical anxiety during childhood. Most of my studies focused on the relationship between childhood anxiety and retrospective memory (working memory, long term memory, memory biases), the relationship between anxiety and executive functioning and its impact upon children’s academic performance, as well as on the associations between childhood anxiety and prospective memory.
Research interests
• Typical and atypical development
• Individual differences and cognitive vulnerability to anxiety during childhood
• Prospective and retrospective memory during childhood
• Cognitive and social vulnerability to antisocial behaviors
